I love how the left front tire comes off the ground by what looks likes at least a foot or so when he launches... Talk about torque... . Ive always loved MACK trucks...

Great video! I have always had a spot in my heart for MACK trucks, as I grew up riding shotgun in old R models just like that one in the video.

CAPTION: Using its Australian-designed Titan model, Mack recently recaptured the world record for the longest road train ever pulled with a single prime mover.

i believe that when i read that article a while back about the road train, that was a cummins under the hood of that Mack... but its been awhile so I could be wrong

I wonder how much power that is to get the front tire off the ground and for so long. All the sub 600hp trucks I've driven never did that:eek:...

Sorry pal, it was powered by a cummins signature 600. 620hp. 18speed trans. And thankfully you took off the day those gears were hobbed:-laf

After researching this I found that it was a sig. 600 so Im very sorry for the misinformation. Yeah Im sure I took off that day they made those gears... .

As for you Lloyd, you get yourself in enough trouble with other threads dont be taking J's side,I know you thinking of something to say..... :-laf

I have personally gone to this "truck pull" 4 times. Its located in Nortre Dame Du Nord, Quebec. It is aproximatly 8 hours north of Toronto, ONT just on the Quebec border. They do bob-tail and train races and its something to see. The people have there have no fear as the crowed can almost reach out and touch the trucks as they go flying past. It is a 4 day party and if your in the crowd and not watching trucks go flying by your trying to get some chick on the other side of the track to flash you!!!!! its a pretty crazy weekend. My boss has pulled in there quite a few times and another good friend of mine won the 500HP class this past year. I will see if either one of them have any vids I can share on here!
