I have posted this subject before, my '95 3500 dually (stock) has SEVERE cracking on the spring tower. The cracks are to the point of having to park it (at the dealer), they do not seem to have the answer. There was a recall on the "coil & link" suspension used on the 4WDS and "chassis cabs", but none on IFS. Please check yours as DaimlerChrysler is having a hard time facing reality! If you have cracking post and contact NHTSA @ 1 800 986 9678. Thanks (hope yours is good as this is a pita!

Statland, I have a 2wd 2500. Where do you look to find the cracks exactly? How did you discover the cracks? I will have to examine mine but I've never really looked over my front suspension where the front shocks mount.

Thanks, Vaughn

Vaughn, The cracks I am refering to are on the frame where the coil springs butt up to it. The cracks are on the spring tower, this is the part of the frame that does not travel with the suspension (upper end of spring).
