When I bought my 2001 QC I also bought an aftermarker 7 year 100k bumper to bumper warranty from 1st source auto warranty. It was backed by an A+ ratting and recommended by edmonds. I just got a letter from the state of Hawaii the company is in liquidation and no longer honorring the policies. This company wrote numerous policies under different names so you better check yours. I have been putting off geting several warranty items fixed (figured I would wait and do it all at once) and that now was a big mistake. I quess the only bright side is is that the policy already had paid for itself but now with higher milage that is when it is more useful. I just pulled my fueling chip and ordered a set of x monitor guages from Genos and a low fuel pressure light. Since it is all on my dime now I went back to the conservative mode.

Hi Rock, you're lucky that's the only problem you've had with the aftermarket warranty company. I had one on a previous car, and after them paying 3X what I bought it for, they decided to try and stop payments for covered repairs. Turns out these warranties can and are bought & exchanged between companies. You can go from belonging to a good plan & company to belonging to a very bad company, which is what happened to me. After numerous calls to the attorney generals in 2 states and some threatening with legal action, I finally got the car repaired the last time before it ran out. I'll NEVER buy an aftermarket warranty plan again. I'll stick with the factory extended plans.

I think aftermarket warrenties are a rip. I should know I use to sell them! I was a job. Anyway, I highly recommend the dodge top warrenty when you buy new or under 36k.

If I'm not mistaken, this warrenty even gives you a rent a car when you go in for a oil

change.

OK, you should also get the oil change warrenty. Very worth the money!

When my freinds call my up to get a new or used mopar I make sure they get these.

If you want a good deal on these, call Ron at 801-544-5800.
