I took out my IAT sensor this morning and looked at it and it wasnt the least bit dirty. Ive been running a K&N since day one I have almost 27000 miles on the truck just wanted to let you guys know from all the posts about the IAT sensor!Oo.
Checked mine last weekend and with 62k on a k&n filtered engine and it was spotless! I spend a lot of time pulling a 4 horse trailer up dusty log roads so I'm happy!
Does it mean anything good if some of us have more miles on our trucks and ours are clean compared to others that have less miles and are dirty as hell?
After previous post I check mine and found to be oily and dirty with 64k and 99%of time with k and n air filter 1 week with pacbrake so I checked air piping and found NO oil in hose from air box to turbo. I am guessing that if you soup up and making more boost and drawing more air through the filter that is when oil gets sucked up? I could be wrong
