Can someone tell me how to check Isspro EGT gauge for accuracy? I just replaced my Banks gauges with some Isspro in the 01 and the egt gauge seems high. It goes straight to 400 cold start and won't idle down below 350. I know there is a way to check the ohms in the circuit but I can't find the instructions that came with the gauges.

Mine goes to over 300 on start, but I can get it to get below 300 if I run idle in park. A recent article in TDR tested several brands: they all worked pretty much as advertised.

Compared to the Banks gauge, the Isspro is 25-100 degrees higher. I would think the Isspro would be more accurate but the Banks is closer to what I would expect.

Tinman I would call Isspro and talk to them. I have been running a Isspro

EGT gauge for 7 years never has went over 300 at start up.
