So how do you........

Extended idling on Dodge vs. Big Rigs

HA HA HA HA HA HA HA!!!

That was worth the 25 min down load time. (dail up sucks) And people say the Dodge front end is not very good??? Give me a worn out track bar every 50k any day.

Ok, now how did they get it out?

Umm, they probably just welded a spare chunk of metal to the offending piece that broke. Been there, done that.

I've used come-alongs to steer my old truck when the steering box took a dump. And rachet straps to hold an axle in place when the lift block broke and spit out, making the u-bolts too long.

You just have to be creative!

A Hummer 2 is simply a 1/2 ton pickup/suv chassis.

I thought it was a slightly modified 3/4 ton chasis. .

Well... thats what you get when you add 2000 lbs of weight to a Suburban Chassis and flog it like its an H1. Hummer is really making a killing on these things. Poor folks actually think they are buying a smaller version of the H1. I've seen dozens of these things swarming around here. The drivers just look at you like your scum of the earth. I just look back at them with a grin... as if they are the ones who bought the Chevette instead of the Corvette. :D

I'm sure glad the US military didn't switch to these Hummers!! They kinda remind me of a Kia Sportage. Long live the H1!

My girlfriend and I test drove one the other day. It looks "neato" and it might not be bad if you could get it with a diesel. The salesman said it got about 10-12mpg. I showed my girlfriend a nice new Dodge Cummins and told her it would be running long after the Hummer died. I told her that she would have enough left over to buy a travel trailer, fuel and insurance for a few years. She's still thinking about the Cummins but is gonna see what her tax situation is.

I also told my girl that my 2002 QC Cummins outweighed the Hummer by a thousand pounds. The Hummer dealer had some "REAL" Hummers there and I showed my girlfriend these. She said she liked the way they looked but I told her that it would be a beast to drive.

The local dodge dealer is a hummer dealer too. When I was there I saw a brand new one sitting on the ground on the passenger side. The wheel and some suspension components were gone. They still have some real hummers in stock.

I was waiting in the showroom the other day while getting a reflash. There was a couple looking at one excitedly. I wanted to smack them. The H2 is junk.

Great video quality.
