LP conversion
We run all of our gas motors on propane except for my moms jeep and the suburban.
Its not that hard. You run a pressure regulator/heat exchanger like what the bully dog injection system runs. Then you just hook up the low pressure outlet to the propane carb. You don't even put the gas carb on. The whole propane carb bolts on like the holley does. Or you can get a system that is dual fuel and can run gas or LP. but then i'd recommend an electronic ignition system with two "curves" (one for lp and one for gas). If the motor you are putting propane on is going to be rebuilt for propane, build it like you are running super unleaded or racing fuel, because propane needs higher compression 9. 5-10:1. The vavles and seats should be hardened because propane burns very dry and wears out valves a little faster.
The guy that writes the books like "how to build a high performance chevy small blocks" has a book out on how to build engines for propane. It has all the timing specs cam specs and every thing else to build and engine for propane.
My family has been running everything on propane since before tractors started coming out with propane powered engines. So i have grown up around it and know that some people think that propane isn't good at all and it really sucks. NOT TRUE if you build up a motor for propane or get the timing and fuel mixture right on an already built motor you can get good power and fuel economy out of 89 cent per gallon fuel while others are busy dissing your low emmisions viehical.
I just kinda spilled my mind on the subject so it might not all make since, but im about to fall asleep so... i'll stop here.
