Chevys new six..

[Champane Flight]

Was watching motor trend the other day and saw GMs new inline six banger. Its going into the new Trailblazer. 275hp with 290ft lbs. GM also said this engine runs so cool that it will go 12000+ miles between oil changes.

95 Dodge 2500 Luverne grill guard,headache rack,running boards and Amzoiled. Soon to be mildly bombed. 84 Dodge d-150, 318 Hooker headers,Edelbrok intake,mallory ignition,Carter Afb,Accel coil,and Custom dual exhaust. Boat,fifthwheel,motorcycles,and shop. 72000 as of 3/1/01,not even broke in yet. Old Dodge 126000 miles and running better than new.

It looks like it could be a good engine. I just wish chevy would start offering a manual trans with all their engines.
Of course if a manual had been available with the 5. 3 liter V8 I probably would have never looked at a Dodge. I guess I'm glad they don't offer the manual with the 5. 3, 'cause I love my Cummins!
