I was just checkin' some of the weather around our great nation today:



Helena Montana: 30F and Snowing

Fairbanks Alaska: 75F and mostly sunny

Here: About 10 degrees colder than Alaska



Checking the paper central Alaska has been running in the 70s and even breaking above 80 lately. Wish it was that warm here! Looks like a good time to head NORTH to warmer weather.



It has been the coldest spring I have ever seen here. Today they were commenting how this year we're seeing 60s-70s around Memorial day and last year we were close to 100.

It's been HOT up here! Today it's finally cooled off mid 60's. Two days ago it was 82 in the shade in the back yard. Got all the fans running in the house to keep it cool during the day.

It's been a cool spring for us too. And dryer than a popcorn phart. It's been extra windy as well. I'm ready for more warm weather!

It has been unusually cold here in Boise as well. Although it turned HOT this past weekend. It was 91 both days then promptly dropped to 56 on monday. Tuesday it was about the same as monday. On the same day I drove to Gilbert, AZ and it was 34 and snowing sideways in Wells, NV and 39 and snowing almost sideways in Elko, NV. It did warm up to 75 or so by the time I got to Vegas though. The funny thing is almost all of the snow was off the mountains in Nevada before this storm. On the way back it looked like there was over a foot on the highest peaks. The trees were still snow covered.

Cold Weather

I live in western North Carolina and we had frost on the mornings of May 21,22, and 23. This is unusual for us. Never remember frost this late in the year.

I just completed a 2600 mile round trip in 2. 5 days from Sulpher, Louisiana to Baltimore, Maryland..... Tennesse was seeing temperatures around freezing aswell as parts of alabama and virginia.
