Not surre what system my neighbor has, but it sounds like a tool he plugs in to change settings and then un-plugs until he needs to change again. It offers 5 different power levels, changes in shift points, etc.

Superchips and some others have a handheld device that you use to change the factory settings. The Superchips tool has 2 different settings to choose from. Depending on the year of the vehicle, I think it is 40/60hp or 60/80hp. Also depends on whether the settings are for street use or off-road. I think one of them goes up to 120 additional hp.

20 PSI of boost on a PSD,its definetley chipped. How is the pulling power, and does it set the check engine light when its over 16psi of boost?. Im guessing this truck is a 6 speed. 32500 is a lot,but i dont think its dangerously high, the 550 is strong towing platform.

The service engine soon light comes on if you boost over 25 lbs.
