Welcome! there is ALOT of info on tuners/boxes/chips on this site and you will get TONS of GREAT info from GREAT people!

IMO a edge comp is the way to go, yes its a little more than a edge EZ but hey you can turn it on and off! thats my biggest thing! I enjoy going from TONS of power to stock in seconds! (check out my pics to see where I mounted my "BD race box" aka "Edge comp") I turn it on 1x3 (1 main level of 5 X 3 sublevel of 5 -sublevel is amount of fueling) when Im towing cars or tractors and it helps out alot but dont forget the weak link in the equasion..... youre trans the more power and stress on the stock trans will wear it out more than normal!

Welcome! There's a ton of great advice here and I'm about to give you the most important. Never, and I mean never, put a "G" in "Cummins" if you're talking about the engine comapny ;) Enjoy the site

Hey guys thanks for the advise and especially NEVER put a "G" in Cummins :) must have been a typing error, I have been a TDR member since DEC 04, really injoy all the good info you guys give out , It sure has helped me alot. Thanks ever so much,

Duane

One peice of advice to help people help you is to fill out your sig and make sure it is attached to your post. If you get a comp just make sure to keep your settings down like IColeman said. Some trans are more fragile than others. Something else you probably want to get is a j-hook or a turn buckle so you can up the boost. You have the hard lined wastegate and cannot us the boost elbow that comes with either Edge Product. Good luck.
