Hello this is my first post, I have a 2017 3500 Tradesmen 4x4 QC drw and it has started chirping and whistling when initially activating the exhaust brake has anybody else heard of this?, thanks in advance

I’ve never heard what you’re referring to, but could it possibly be the turbo barking that you’re hearing?
 
Interesting, I've had two 6.7L trucks and not experienced either symptom. I had an 02 3500 that I installed a BD exhaust brake that was adjustable. At the max setting, it would whistle ans would bark (sudden air resistance to the turbo blades).

Do you turn on your EB every time you drive it? If not, could be build up of carbon. These EBs need use and saves brakes. I keep mine on all the time, but would turn off in ice or slippery conditions. hope this helps. Cheers, Ron
 
good morning, after traveling back from Washington state it sounds like turbo whistle only while decelerating, thanks for all your help
