Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Chirping noise...

Out the exhaust at an idle, dosen't do it all the time. It sounds just like the famous belt chirp. Any clue as to what it is

Chirp at idle at the exhaust tip - constantly chirping- is the turbo spinning roundy roundy. the belt chirp is only when you shut of and the belt catches at last second on the fan pulley.

If you don't run a OEM air filter it will be more prevalent.
