Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) chopperman

Hey guys, I have an 01 24Valve that I just put a DTT noise filter on to elliminate the TC from upshifting and downshifting. It seemed to work ok for the first week or so now it seems to continue to still shift in and out with light pedal. I soldered the wires and checked the grounds all seems good on that end. Any thoughts on why it is still doing it would be appreciated.

been there its probably the apps. do a search you will have lots of reading.

Clean ALL grds, battery terminals, possible bad batteries ( this is a good possiblity if your batteries are more than two years old ), Wrap alternator grd wire with tinfoil. Check grd connectors under passenger battery. APPS is last thing to do.

check for codes. you need a reader for 98. 5. if you get codes 0121 or 0122 apps. agree with cleaning everything if there are no codes beforing buying apps lots of dollars. i did all the things mentioned but in the end had to spend dollars. hope this help you.
