UPS dropped off my package today from HTT. A nice shiny polished intercooler. Oo. Needless to say, you know what I will be doing tonight!:-laf It is definitely a very nicely built unit. I will be looking forward to testing it out now that I am getting my stocker out of here. LOL I can not believe it has not blown out yet. :-laf

Big boy intercooler, you 3rd gen guys have allot of room to play with and that one has allot of area... . really tall!



We all know there is a huge restriction going back in the 3" pipe, but the same goes for the head.

Actually Tomeygun, the price isn't that bad when compared to most on the market. Especially when you see the quality of the unit first hand. Keep in mind this is not the intercooler HTT has been selling for the past couple years. This is a totally new design with a lower price than the ones they have been selling.

yeh Jim, I had contemplated cutting off the inlet and outlet and going to 3-1/2", but the cast tanks look so good, I may have to experiment on Rams-n-Hogs intercooler instead. :-laf LOL

Anyway, I would like to get some before and after numbers with it the way it is. That way I could compare what gains I get going from the stocker at my fueling level to the HTT one. Oh yeh, 1/2" thicker than stocker and 3"s taller.

here's some more install pics. along with a side by side pic. not much comparison.

in order they are

side by side

measurement of the tank dimension of the HTT (about 2-3/4")

measurement of the tank dimension of the stocker (about 2-1/4")

thickness of the stocker ( about 2-1/8" compared to the 2-3/4" HTT)

and then the final product before I installed my dinged up A/C condenser. LOL
