I overheard Dutch talking to a fella today and he mentioned he was going to get a scan tool that checks the codes for our 96 dually. Hmmm, that might make an excellent Christmas present. I looked in Geno's Garage but didn't see anything. I know it's very Any ideas on where I might buy one? Diana

most autoparts stores have them if you need it quick

The most you can expect for codes on a '96 is maybe ABS, with a manual transmission. Our trucks don't have much in the way of electronic controls, thank goodness.
