Human clones?

As some of you know, I went to Hawaii for christmas.

The wife's employer paid for everything but our meals and getting to LAX.

And, we hadn't money for anything else, so that's about all we did... But, just for kicks and giggles, here's pictures of a little of what we saw...

Here's a few pictures from our trip. I did not take a lot of pictures, as we really didn't do that much... Though my kids took quite a few, of stuff interesting to them.

Without further ado:

San Francisco... .

The evening view from our hotel room balcony.

This is Waikiki:

And this is "Hotel Row" as someone called it. It's roughly 2 miles by 1/2 mile, and contains 300 hotels and condos.

It's a complete tourist trap... fun to look at, but miserable after the first day or two.

On the way back, I had to snap this one from Weed, CA:

Waikiki is nice, I agree about how it can get miserable in a couple of days if you don't get out and see the rest of Oahu, or go to another island.

But dang, I had no idea about Weed, CA. That picture is awe inspiring, as is the "bridge" picture...

When I was in San Francisco one day in September 2000 it was foggy and I didn't get any good "bridge" pictures of the Golden Gate.

Hope you enjoyed your trip!

How was the drive home, Mark? I was worried about that axle seal leak. Have you had a chance to look at it yet?

I got back home last night. It was a pretty bumpy flight descending into SeaTac!

Nice to have met you and your totally cool kids. You should be very proud of them.
