2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Chrome Front Bumper

I recently had my front bumper plastic trim off to do some headlight work and decided to clean up the chrome under the plastic. It cleaned up pretty good. I kind of like the extra chrome look, but would like to add some kind of a strip where the clips that hold the plastic cover on are located to hide the holes. Anybody tried anything like that or have any ideas?
