2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Chrome Plastic Tape on grill -----

OK this is a POS - I think we know this - what have you guys done when they start to get bubbles under the chrome tape over the plastic ??? I was told that it was essentially unfixable other than taking the tape off an painting it... ... . what might something like this cost in a wrecking yard?????

$45 - decent quality, comes with mounting hardware too. A great deal less $$$ than I thought it would be. I couldn't begin to imagine what the dealer would want for one.
