Chrome rim weight

Can anyone tell me what the weight of one of the 16X6. 5 chrome rims weigh on the 2500 trucks? I'm thinking about going with a set of Alcoa classics which weigh about 19 lbs each and am wondering how much weight I will save per rim.

I just had a set sent up from Texas to my home in Massachusetts. The shipping was $108 bucks, in believe. I think they weigh around 38#'s each. Not sure, but I think that is what they were. Even with 245's on them, they weigh quite a bit more than the set of 33x12. 5x16. 5's I have mounted on 16. 5x10 American Racing aluminum wheels. Hope that helps.

The oem steel wheels off of my 1997 were as follows:



34. 25 lbs each wheel

4. 55 lbs all lug nuts

. 90 lbs each cap

I had LT305/85R16's on OEM Chrome wheels. I re-mounted them on M/T Challengers last fall. I couldn't beileve how much lighter they were loading them in the bed. Like night & day.
