BMW diesel beats Prius

Longest you've run you truck with out shutting down?

Wow, that is great for sure! I see respondents to the unofficial survey are quite in favor too. I WANT ONE NOW!!!

That appears to be the Mercedes Benz 3. 0 liter turbodiesel used in E class MB sedans. I'm not surprised because the transmission and lots of the suspension architecture used in Chrysler 300s is borrowed from their former MB sister cars.

IIRC comparing the CRD and V8 gas engines in the MB E class sedan the CRD is actually faster than the V8 gas burner. It wouldn't be half as fast as the 300C with hemi engine but would sure make a nice automobile.

It is the same Mercedes V-6. It is used in the Jeep Grand Cherokee and several Mercedes vehicles (SUV and car), as well as the Sprinter van. The engine is already EPA approved in USA, so what they heck are they waiting on? Chrysler is CRAZY not to at least OFFER it to us here! I am not a car person but that would be a sweet one to have, especially with a 6-speed!!

In the G/c the mileage is not that impressive,1-2 mpg better than the Hemi.

4-5k option price... ... ... . kind of iffy in my book.
