Anyone remember Ricardo Montalban extolling the Corinthian leather seats of the Chrysler Cordoba. I always thought the model name was invented by some one with a speech impediment.

He would roll over in his grave if he saw the one I spotted in a rest area west of Lordsburg, NM last week. This car puts serious doubt to the rumor that the police and DOT are concerned about exceeding the axle and/or tire weight ratings. This car has CA plates, so I assume he drove in three states to get to the rest area.

I'd bet this particular car was fitted with rich Corinthian vinyl, though.

Maybe that fence the gov't built should have been across the Eastern border of Cal instead of at the southern border. Hope they have enough gas money to get all the way through Texas.

I had one years ago it was black with red interior, Giant gas tank and got about 5 mpg with the lean burn 360. I shudder at the thought of what it would cost to operate today

Had me scared there for a moment. Double checked to make sure he/she was not in Arizona:) Must be moving to Houston (sorry Texas)

Maybe going to Arkansas. I hear that's the only state where you can get a divorce and your ex is still your sister. :-laf:-laf

Agreat guy for Chrysler at the time. My wife and I had dinner with him. A perfect gentleman. Married to the sister of actress Loretta Young.
