Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) Chrysler Parts worth getting?

Ive got a 98 12 valve, I see some dealerships are going out of business and think that they might put their parts on sale to get rid of them. Are there certain parts that cannot be upgraded by aftermarket options, that u can only get from a dealership, that we as dodge owners should be stocking up on? Parts that are known to need replacing more often than others.

There should be special tools and shop manuals up for grabs as well.

I asked that very question last week at a dealer that is closing , the parts are going back to the factory for credit and will be re shipped as needed to the dealers still open, as I wanted to do the same and load up on misc for the truck. . no deal to be had is what I was told... ... the dealers closing will have to sell off all there specialty tools etc from the dealership I spose unless the mech's get at the stuff first.

I have a classmate from Highshcool who family's busines (wholesale wearhouse) ships Chrysler/Dodge parts to dealers.



My Brother In-Law works for a Chevy dealership the owner stated if GM goes under they will still be selling parts and repairing vehicles (as main part of business).



I don't think there will be any deal on parts.
