Chrysler Service Contract.

So I get this brochure in the mail from Chrysler wanting me to buy a service contract before I hit 12 months or 12,000 miles. What's the deal with those numbers? I thought I could buy the Svc. Contract any time before 36/36,000.



Is there anyone out there selling these plans at a discount?

Are you sure the letter is from Chrysler?? I got a letter a few days ago saying my extended warranty was about to expire when I actually have a couple more years left. They did the same thing on our car a few years back. It's an aftermarket outfit that was just trying to weasel me out of some money. bg

Don't know. It's signed by a guy named Mike Ross "Head of Chrysler Group Service Contracts"

Any way I called them and was quoted $3300 for a 7/84,000 Maximum care with $100 deductable. I declined..... lol

$3300??!? yeah, I would have declined too, to put it nicely.

Yeah its pricey but one stuck injector or bad transmission would pay for it

Offer them a grand and they'll probably take it. I did that on my truck and on the Toyota I just bought.

True, but I had the 100K maxcare for my truck and I paid less than half of that from chryslerwarrantys.com

Got a quote from these folks $2200. Anyone got another? If I can drop the price another $1100 I might just buy it... ... ... LOL

True, but I had the 100K maxcare for my truck and I paid less than half of that from chryslerwarrantys.com

thats not too bad for the coverage you are getting. If that is for 7 years or 84K miles it might be worth it. If you think about it 1 major repair out of warranty will will cover probably half of it.



I was sold the plan below the max care for 7 years or 70K miles for about $1600

and it has probably paid for itself about 5 times just ot put things into perspective.
