Just thought I would pass a long to all who have those wonderful vibrating CIPA mirrors. I sent CIPA an email about my problem and here is there reply:

Call Terry at Magna Donnelly 616-844-8158. About a year ago I called him and he sent me parts to fix mine at N/C. Mine were out of warranty but it did not matter to him. Mine are just fine now!

That's too bad that they don't have the customer service they used to. Last year I got a set of replacement panes from them, no charge, in less than a week. One for my Dad's set that was damaged in shipment, and one for mine that I swirled up (used a paper towel to clean). Even though mine was clearly my fault (and I admitted it to them) they sent a new one no-charge.



Just out of curiosity, do you have a bug deflector?

I had a problem and they gave me the run around.

I was sent a plastic tool to take them apart and re assemble them (I think)

but I havent done it yet.

The instructions on the tool arent very good, and I dont want to make things harder to see than they already are.

Now the glass looks as if it's going to fall out of the one side. :{

Hey Guys - - Geno's Garage knows some one at the factory that gets things done - - You may have to pay for items beyond warantee - - BUT - - the object is to get them fixed. Give Robin a call, she can probably help you like she helped me!

I have one that the mirror glass Vibrates. I took a piece 3/8 by 3/8 by 1 inch long stickey back foam weather strip and slid it under the lower left corner of the mirror glass so the glass slides on it. Holds it from vibrating just great.

Well I received and email from Magna Donnelly (very quick response too) and they are sending me parts to fix the mirrors. Apparently like you all said they know what the problem is and know how to fix it. I hope these new parts work cause I would hate to have to go buy new mirrors. Thanks for your responses.
