Circular Saws - Worm Drive vs. Direct Drive

ryan I only pay about $31 and change for the bosh blades from the welding shop.

If I could find the blades that cheap, no question I'd buy them. The local Lowe's wants $60 for Lennox. I guess I can call the local welding shop (Weiler) tomorrow, but in the past I've found them to sell things for list price only.

Robertyoke,, there is one heck of a difference between those of you who use tools professionally vs many of us who don't.



It is not financially prudent for some of us to pay for the extra durability of professional grade. On the other hand it is not worth the risk for a professional user to be delayed by breakdowns of inferior products.
