I recently purchased a "Cirkit Boss" from Genos with the idea that I could efficiently connect a bunch of accessories: CB radio, gauges, etc. The "Cirkit Boss" allows the connecting of seven separate circuits to power all at one location. The unit measures: 3 1/2 x 3 1/2 x 2 3/4 dp. So far, I haven't been able to locate a suitable spot to mount this thing, either under the hood or dash.

Has anybody dealt with this/ any solutions?

Thanks,

My buddy mounted his on the firewall, on the driver's side, at the corner.

I have an alarm siren mounted there.

I mounted mine under the dash, under the steering column, to the dash frame. So when I take off the knee bolster panel, its accessible.

Not sure what room is where on an 05. .

My buddy's is an 01 and mine is a 99.

If your gonna mount it under the hood, make sure you have the weather proof one.

I ran into the same thing. I gave up on the 7-circ non-weatherproofed version I got from Geno's and ordered a 3-circ weatherproof. I'm going to put it on the firewall on the driver's side under the hood.

I have two. One is on the drivers side firewall. It was very awkward to install, but even if the mounting screw fell out, it wouldn't go anywhere. There is an access hole in the firewall, near the emergency brake for all the wires that pass through for gauges and such.

The second is on the passenger side fender well, behind the battery. It is wired to the battery on that side. I only have one wire into the cab so far, but plan for aux. lights some day. There is an access hole by the passenger footwell, behind the plastic cover. I'd take pictures, but there is almost nothing to see. I try to make my installations very clean, so nothing has that cheesy add-on look.
