Does anyone have these. Im just a little curious as to why they are $100 less then everone else. Are they bosch? New or rebuilds? Do they not come with new orings and washers? any answers would be great.

The 300's I bought from them came with washers but no O-rings.

You'll find that shopping around will net you much better deals for same products with these trucks. For some reason there is such a large price differential between vendors. The 300's are bosch, so I would think the 370's are too.

I bought them and there great no complaints. same p/n, so I think its just that your not paying for the "big shop" name. Flame suit on.

Signal73 - this is coming from the same person that posted this at 5:58 pm in another thread?

... I found city diesels install kit for the 12V injectors I got from them was junk. half of the return line washers were the wrong size I had to wind up reusing some of my factory ones because the holes for the banjo's were too big. I think the name diapco sticks in my head when I try to recall the brand name of the kit.

This really isn't any of my concern, but I'm confused on the contradicting statements. Quite an opinion swing in 4 1/2 hours.

im gonna have to keep an eye on this one, looks interesting.

i think piers flow tests and matchs the sets so there closer together.

HeavyHauler- No offence but you cannot read. The injectors themselves and an injector install kit are 2 different things.

Matthug - actually I do take offense to that and yes, I can read (sorry you can't spell, unless you're British). The guy wants to know about City Diesel's 370s. I think the the washers and o-rings are part of the injector don't you? If you had read the thread that post came from, you would know that Signal73 posted that in reference to the copper sealing washers. The injectors may perform fine when installed correctly and with the proper parts, but I think the thread originator should know that one person thinks the install kit is junk. That sounds like a complaint to me.

Get a life buddy.

City Diesels Injectors were asked about so I gave my opinion.

City Diesels Injector install kit Gave me a hard time so I gave my opinion.

2 different subjects.

I guess in comparison it would be like condemming the Cummins because of the Dodge it comes wrapped in.

'Nuff said about that.

IMHO if your looking to buy 370's your looking to get a cheap bang for the buck. $300 vs. $400 price difference that may or may not give you any gains is a steep price to pay I think.

If Im gonna spend another $100 for the same product Id spend another $200 and at least get a guaranteed performance gain by going with extrude honed injectors or EDM's.

I originally bought 300 from Bully Dog and ran them for about 1 year. After getting too used to the power level, I sold them and bought 370 from... yup City Diesel. Same P/N as the other big vendors. Can't comment on the install kit - I don't remember what it consisted of and I have a couple of Dipaco (sp?) kits around that I probably used.

I got my 370's from Piers.

xpetecx,The ones from Piers were "Robert Bosch made in Brazil. " If the part# ends in "715" I'd suppose theyre the same.

Signal73 knows what I meant and explained it for you.

I think it is you who needs to get a life, I was typing quick and accidently messed up one letter. :--)

Oh and once again you can't read, he wasn't referring to the Copper washer on the injector, he was referring to the copper seals for the return (not part of the injector) and the stock ones can be re-used anyway.

Sorry to hijack, but where can you find the part# on the injectors. I am trying to figure out what I have in my truck. Thanks.

Unfortunately I believe you will have to pull one out and check the # on the Injector. You cant see it now because the place where the part number is, is recessed in the head.

Have to pull them out to find the numbers. One of the numbers is on the tip itself.

Thanks for the help guys, and sorry I kinda started a fight :-{}. I Should have been a little more specific in my first post. I also wanted to know if they came with the install kit, but now I do. Its just not a very good one. thanks again.

Dont get me wrong, I wouldnt shy away from there injectors because I had 3 out of 6 bad return line washers in the install kit. The install kits are sold seperately and are available from almost any Diesel shop that deals with cummins in the USA. Just wanted to clear it up if there were any misconception. Jim

Haha, HEAVYHAULER pm'd me this nasty note and then puts me on his ignore list so I can't PM back. LOL, I find this amusing. I guess he finally realized he got proved wrong twice and just got ****** off, he stooped to some serious name calling and insults.

XPETECX- The injectors won't come with an install kit, my 300's didn't anyway. They come with the copper washers at the base of the injector, and you can re-use the return line washers as mentioned before. All you will need to get is new O-rings for the dust seal on the injector nut.

For the 370's you really want to use the . 020 thin washers, which My 370's didnt come with. They let the injector tip sit lower in the cylynder bore and get more of the injector spray into the piston bowl.

I think the Diapco kit P/N is DPE590 and cost me less than $20. 00 at my local ACME autoparts store. It comes with every thickness washer, return line sealing washers, and rubber o-rings. Put in the thinnest washer 0. 020" thick and enjoy ;)
