Why did all the classified ads get archived?

Seems like a waste of data to have to go re-create them when it appears many of the archived ads are still available.

We are also unable to label them as sold when they have been archived.

Seems like a waste of data to have to go re-create them when it appears many of the archived ads are still available.

We are also unable to label them as sold when they have been archived.

Too many people never bothered to update their ads as sold, so rather than have them hang around forever Robert wanted them to auto-archive.

Auto-archiving applies only to inactive threads. So keep it active with updates such as price reductions (probably a good idea anyway if it's not selling) or other edits, and it won't archive.

Glad you brought that up, I was going to revive mine as I still have some 3rd gen items to move ( end of year shop cleaning) and dont want to re-invent the wheel

Some stuff is slow to move. So thanks for a suggestion to “Bump” the ad. Absolutely understand old forgotten ads cluttering up the place.

Please give us a way to request sold/closed whenever items sell.
