Long delay for a specific thread

Why not put the magazine online?

i have had this issue before but it has happened again and thought i would mention it to the staff/ steve etc.

i have several ads posted in the classifieds and the problem i run into alot is people emailing and asking if i still have " it " .

or will it fit my ??

when a person clicks on reply/email to seller they have no idea that you may have multiple ads and are not aware that they should specify the item they are asking questions about.

i don't mind answering the emails and or questions but it sure would be nice to have the ad number or a part of the description in the subject box of the email notification that the seller gets when someone clicks the "contact buyer" from the ad.

example:

this is what is in the subject box now

Reply To Your Ad at the Turbo Diesel Register Classifieds

this way would help save time for buyer and seller

reply to your ad # 11799 at the turbo diesel register classifieds

or

reply to your ad, radio and speakers,, at the tdr classifieds

just a thought !!!

I have had this same problem! This definitely needs to be addressed. It's pretty aggravating having to first email the person to find out what item they are inquiring about.

What can we do about this?

I agree 199% with this, it has happened to me when I have multiple listings, and sometimes when I am replying to a ad. It would be nice to have the ad description.

I'll put this on my list to talk with Robin about. I'm going to be on vacation next week - taking a week off to go for a LONG bike ride :D - so it'll be after I get back from that before we can look at it.

Motorcycle - heading to Eureka Springs, AR on tuesday or wednesday depending on weather. Should be putting 2,500-3,000 miles on the bike that week.
