classifieds

Is there some hidden trick to using the classifieds or is it just that no one wants to sell the stuff they're trying to sell. I've never gotten any replies to my inquiries and am really beginning to wonder. Is there any more to it than hitting the reply button, typing in my info, and pushing send?

I agree with JDougherty, lots os responces both to buying and saling. Be specific in your requests to people.

I agree "justatruck" ~~~~~~~~ I clicked "reply" on 2 separate dates on one item for sale and the seller never was notified that I was interested. I finally got in touch with the seller thru another member and he said that he checks the classified section daily. Hummmmmmmmmm ??? Cliff

I'm glad the new format is in place, I bought a edge ez from the class. and thought everyone were members, Now he has another add there and it say's not a member. The point is: I e-mailed him

a couple questions about the box and he won't responed.

One of the possible problems out there is that spam killers on many ISP's will block our emails. There really isn't a whole lot that can be done about it either. The problem is that emails that are generated by the system come from -- email address removed -- which they see as a spam address. I've tried to change that and there's no way to do it. It started becoming an issue around 6 months ago. Try contacting them through their phone # if they have listed one.

Cooker- thanks but I'm not selling anything yet but have been VERY interested in buying some things that I've never heard back on. My truck may be in there as soon as I get the title though. :{
