NewSuperGlide 16K with removeable Rails??

RV toilet seat

Been wanting to do this for a while. the 2x6's were looking pretty bad. one pic shows what it looked like new.

I bought some tongue and groove 3/4" ply and cut to fit the boards. I primed the boards and the bottom and top of the plywood. Put 2 good coats on the top. .

Dried the primer overnight and did the duplicolor truck bed liner all over the bed. . NICE! Now the snow and Ice wont matter when out this winter. no more rot.

That's why I order my utility trailers with CCA treated flooring. I had one that's 20 years old, always parked outside, and still has the original flooring in good condition.

I didn't know the difference ten years ago and was in a hurry to have a trailer in order to gut the interior of a rental house I had just bought. I bought a Big Tex 70P (7,000lb/pipe upper rail) with standard junk wood floor. By a year or so ago the floor boards were mostly rotted and unsafe to haul anything heavy.

When I went into the local mom and pop hardware and lumber store a year ago to order treated lumber 2" by 6" lumber to refloor it the owner mentioned that his son-in-law needed work and would do it for $75. I agreed. My old beat up Big Tex flatbed has new treated wood flooring now and will probably last as long as I do, maybe longer. Should have known better and ordered one with treated lumber when I bought it.

I got this trailer as an inexpensive one. Has lasted about 5 years but is still fairly strong. (The wood... the trailer itself is great)... So i just painted and lined it with wood and liner. Cost about $200 in materials including the duplicolor liner. Has 2 coats of that stuff on it. If the stuff scratches up, there is a spray on touch up can. Should last pretty good now.
