Cleaning Airaid intake filter

Having K & N filters on my stuff for several years, I have a couple of cans of their cleaner and oil. Any thoughts on whether I can use the K & N cleaner and oil on the Airaid? Or just buy the Airaid cleaner and oil and put more stuff on the garage shelf.

For me I would stick with the filter manufacturer's oil and cleaner. There may or may not be a difference, but I would hate to ruin a good filter with some other vendors oil. I know the oil/cleaner I get for my UNI filter is nothing like the K&N stuff.
