Cleaning Sensor

Doing my 15k service and the book calls for cleaning the water in fuel sensor... ... ... ... . where is this located at?

The WIF sensor is on the front of the filter canister.



For early 2003 trucks, it's to the LEFT (toward the engine) side of the drain valve.



For late 2003 trucks, it's to the RIGHT (away from the engine) side of the drain valve.



When looking at the front of the filter canister, there are only 2 devices with electrical connectors. One os the fuel heater and thermostat, which is quite large and mounted up toward the top of the canister. The other is the WIF sensor, much smaller and mounted much lower on the canister.
