The Fuel We Use And What To Know About

Newbie alert

My dashboard & interior needs a little cleaning & I am wondering what to use. Does anyone know what material the dashboard is made of? It is hard to tell by just looking at it.

Big Rig,

Don't know for sure, but it seems like a plastic to me.

For 11 years on my Toyota 4x4 I used a vinyl/leather product (cream) from Amyway, No cracks or greasy feel, but not made anymore.

Today's market it seems like everything is an Amorall knock off. Greasy, slick feeling. I use Meguire's vinyl/leather wipes, not as greasy/slick after dry buffing with a towel.

Don't put it on your steering wheel.

EagleOne makes a great product that works on leather, vinyle, rubber and plastic, I use it on my door handles and all the plastic on my tuck. It has brought back to factory condition my front bumper and my door handles. Every thing else that I use it on was in realy good shape already. When I get home I will post the name of it. It's a cream and it realy does what it says. . If you want some more info on it P. M. me

Clean your dash? I haven't done that since, hmm. I know the dealer did it when I bought it.

In the past I just used Armor All. Now I think its a waste of time. I live in a very dusty area.

I use those orange cleaning wipes from ArmorAll. Smell nice and won't grease up the stuff you clean with it. Even works well on the steering wheel. I haven't buffed it yet, afterwards and it still shines, on it's own. Takes greasy handprints off the inside door handles, too. I might try buffing with a soft cloth, one of these days, but so far, haven't seen the need to.
