What do we clean the Odometer Cover with. I don't want to scratch this Plexiglas or what ever kind of plastic it is???Can you all Comment on this ?/ Thanks radar doctor

You can use a plexiglass polish cleaner. I have some that I use on my plexiglass fish tank. It has a way that it just fills in all those fine scratches and grooves. Look for it at a good aquarium store. Oo.

You can purchase lens cleaning tissue that comes in a small pouch made especially for cleaning eyeglasses or camera lens, works on plastic or glass anti-static, anti-fog, there pre-moistened. Can get them at Walmart for around a dollar. :D

DO NOT USE KLEENEX, PAPER TOWELS OR THE LIKE!

They have long fibers in them that will scratch, don't use them on your eyeglasses, anything plastic or anything delicate!

Use a pure cotton handerchief, no scratches, only soft!

Paper products are made from wood fiber usually and will scratch. My last trucks previous owner must of used lighter fluid to clean the instrument glass as it was fogged so bad you almost couldn't see the gauges. I used automotive polishing compound on it and it came out very clear, a new clear cover was $100 from the S oops dealer

I am sorry I knew i wanted to say something else. The cleaner to use is acrylic glass cleaner. That is what my salt water fish tank is made out of. You can go to any good salt water aquarium store and find this type of cleaner.

When I moved last year I had to break down my tank. Before I set it back up, I purchased some Coralife products. I compounded some of the scratches out, and then polished it before I set up l the live rock back into her. This compound cleaner and polisher will take care of any scratches you may have. It will also make any plexi or acrylic look like new. :D :D

Use a plexiglass specific cleaner. Some of the glass cleaners and Armor All will cloud it to the point that you cannot read the gauges.
