Does anyone know of spray nozzle that can be hooked up to a garden hose that would have a 90 degree bend in it to spray the radiator. It would need to have a restricted orafice to build some pressure. Seems it would be easier than removing the radiator.

Let me advise you to bite the bullet and take out the

radiator bring it to a car wash soak it with degreaser and

blast it carefully out. Anything alse is just patching it.

(Personally experienced in trying the short cut!!)

You can build one for an air compressor out of copper tubing and bend it at the angle you want and pinch the tip down to get more pressure.

I tried to do it the easy way (garden hose) and it seemed to remove some stuff. 6 months later I pulled the radiator and it was plugged. The dirt, bugs, grime is cemented in place by the oil blow by that gets up into the radiator. Here is pick of mine - about 270K miles on it.
