Ballons!!

Saw the business end of a shotgun this morning...

My home is sided with Florida cypress and due to extreme wet weather in the past 2 years it has a little mold on the wood in several spots. I need to know the proper way to kill and remove? What chemicals do I use, do I use pressure washer or scrub brush? Any other help would be great! Thanks

I have had a problem with mold and mildew in the wet Northwest. Take a bucket of hot water, mix in some bleach, and scrub with a stiff brush. Hose off before it dries. Make sure to apply a good coat of paint as soon as conditions allow. John

Is the wood a natural finish or painted? DO NOT use bleach on a natural wood finish. You can get a fungacide to kill mold and mildew on exterior wood surfaces. Bleach is terrific for tile surfaces though, just spray it on and let sit for 24 hours. Bad fumes though.

It is a natural finish with a sealer on it. I plan on resealing in the next few months but i would like to make it look a little better in the mean time. This is what it looks like.
