Clear Taillights?

Hello everyone,



The other day I was driving around town and noticed a cool looking pair of tail lights, they looked clear and were red i think we he hit the brakes. Has anyone else seen these, and if so where can I price a pair at?

Nick, are you talking about completley clear or the Euro style like Josh has??, if so Jeg's has both kinds, APC makes them. Just give me a call. Later

Illegal in NY State probably Ohio too!

Clear tail lights are illegal in NY State and do not pass NY State Inspection. Red bulbs are also illegal ! I would check out your Ohio Vehicle traffic laws before I spend my hard earned cash on that cheap Taiwan, Chinese junk that is flooding American shores!! It is your bukarooos afterall !!! When you step on the brakes your lights will look a very lovely PINK !! Pink and Cummins do not go together! Hope this helps?

I've had the clear ones on my truck for about 6 months now, they are not completely clear, they have the red lenses over the area in order to comply with DOT. They aren't pink, but bright red. Matter of fact, I put them on one at a time and they are brighter than the stock lenses. There was a guy selling these in the classifieds on the TDR a while back but I don't see him now.

The old style clear tail lights are illegal but the new "euro" style are fine.
