Clearance light pattern question

I've searched and searched, I can't find an answer.



Do the third gen cabs have the pattern already stamped into the inner skin of the roof like the 2nd gens?

I just put mine on about two weeks ago . To answer your question NO,but if you buy the mopar kit it comes with a fairly nice templete makes the lay out a snap (the kit is $ 89 at dealer). Be prepared to riddle your roof with holes,10- 1/4" holes and 5- 7/8" holes.

Since the kit has the incorrect lights and incorrect pattern, I've decided to go for some junk yard lights from another third gen. I was hoping the roof had the pattern in the underskin like my 02 did, that made it's installation pretty simple. Oh, well, I guess I'll have to make a template from a wrecked one.
