Clearance lights on mirrors?

Has anyone put some amber lights on their mirrors, like some of the (dare I say it) Fords are doing now. If done well, I think it would look nice. Could do clearance and / or turn signal.

I haven't done this yet but I am thinking about it. I would suggest getting a LED light so it is sealed and wouln't get water in it. As far as the turnsignal and marker just tap into the appropriate wire to give the lights power. Easy to find which wire if you have a wiring schematic in a repair book. Hope I have helped!
