question about new WD hitch

Hauling a Piano from Cleveland Ohio

I'm installing some clearance lights on the fenders of my car hauler. I've found it to be a real pain towing the trailer at night, trying to manuver around stuff when you can't see the fenders of the trailer. I bought some orange ones for the front, and some red ones for the back.

I bought some round 2" lights that have the rubber cup and recess into the trailer Fairly common on trailers... this is what I have for the rest of the lights.

Now I'm trying to figure out what size hole I need to make for them? I have a 2" hole saw, but it's too small. It's somewhere between 2 1/4" and 2 3/8", but I don't want to have to buy several hole saws (at ~$15 a piece) to get the proper size.

I tried to measure, but the rubber isn't exactly round and it's hard to get an accurate #.

Hoping there's someone on here that makes trailers or has done this before that might know.

Don't forget to check out regulation on Color and placment of those lights, would hate to hear about an acident becase the wrong color was used.

I have amber ones for the front of the fenders and red ones for the back of the fender. AFAIK that is the proper colors.
