clearing codes

any one around riverside,ca that can clear codes

threw a 0088 and i cant get my check eng light off

I was told that if you unhook the battery for over 20 min. it will clear the codes. Not sure if there is any truth to it but you can try it and see.

darn, I live in Riverside also... ... Indian hills area... . all you have to do is unhook both neg terminals of you batteries for about 5 minutes and they are clear...

Try Autozone they can clear them for you.
