clicking or squeek

I just returned from a two week trip where my truck was sitting outside in 20 degree weather. When I started it up there was a clicking sound coming from the engine area. It seems to be clicking at a speed less than engine rpm, it does increase with rpm. When I looked under the hood it sounded more like a squeek that is intermitent with each revelation of the engine.



There is some fuzzy fraying on the very edge of the belt, I have about 48,000 miles on the truck.

I would guess it's your belt



Mine is starting to squeak also, I have 91K on the truck



I have a spare under the back seat waiting to be installed
