Competition Clipped Water Pump

I Clipped The Water Pump On My Third Gen And Was Wondering If I Hmay Have Affected The Drivabilty With Cooling Issues, I Havent Driven The Truck Yet But Was Wondering How Others Clipped Pumps Were Working On Daily Drivers... ALSO WHERE DO I FIND A COOLANT BYPASS KIT ?

Enterprise Engine sells that same pump. It's a really nice pump and is a simple bolt in replacement. I'm not sure how a clipped pump would work on the street.

The electric pumps look good but what about my clipped pump that is currently in the truck? I keep having freeze plug issues and was wondering if this would be a good fix even though the truck is somewhat of a daily driver?
