2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission ClockSpring

OK... . Cruise stopped functioning. The cruise light comes on but nothing happens when I hit the SET button. If my clockSpring is broken will the Cruise light lite up? The AirBag light is not on however... . Is there any way of testing the ClockSpring?

I went to AutoZone & hooked up a scanner & got no codes. Thanks for any ideas.

Some body better check me but I believe the the wire that sets the speed control is the same wire that turns it on and off. the wires are multiplexed and send different resistances to ground to control th SC.

Believe that's correct. First thing to check is the vacum to the servo controler. My 97's cruise didn't work. Turned out the connection at the servo controller was off and I had a hole in the servo controller case.
