Two questions:

First: The wires from the electric clutch fan has come undone from the fan sroud and ended up going through the fan. OUCH. I was very lucky I found the pig tail from the clutch fan on top of the motor. So I thought no big deal splice in some new wire plug the harness back together and wammy "fan". Ah... no... now I have two trouble codes, P0480 and P483.

Could having the wires to the eCluch fan severed cause it to not work at all or have I wired it together wrong.

Second: Could any of this fan business have anything to do with me not having A/C right now. NONE in fact it is blowing hot air.

Thanks,

I can tell you a bad fan clutch will prevent the A/C from working . Senses too much head pressure in system and shuts it down.

I agree with MMeier. I had mine go bad on my '03 and the A/C wouldn't work. The FSM says that you can test the clutch by spinning the fan blade by hand. If I remember right it says more than 5 revolutions and it is bad. Mine would spin 6 or more times.

It is possible that you have the wires connected incorrectly but I'm sure you just matched up the colors. Double check the plug to make sure it didn't rip one of the pins out of the connector.
