After coming to a stop, when starting up again, there is a clunk coming from the front end. Cannot see anything loose or wear marks where something is moving. Any ideas. 120k miles.

I have had the same sound recently. Check the lower control arm bolt at the axle, the one that adjusts caster. Tightened it up, clunk gone.

I, also have a clunk in the front end but, mostly when making a R turn. Sometimes left. Laying under the truck had my wife turn the wheel L & R. Makes a much quieter clunk. Can hear & feel it in the linkage, wheels, & gear box. Feels the same everywhere. Can not locate the source. Help!

Trackbar may be loose or worn bushings.

If you have not ever replaced the sway bar end links on an 04, I can just about guarantee they're bad.
My first one was bad by the time I had 25K on it and it never leaves the road. Aftermarket parts will put an end to the failures.

I've seen several 3rd Gen truck where the bolts going through the upper end of the track bar were loose and causing a lot of noise. Look for signs of the bolt moving around and maybe put a wrench on them anyway.

New trac bar, new ball joints, 08 steering up grade, new wheel bearings - got back from a trip to AK and it started to clunk. Tried tightening on the steering box tensioner and it seemed to help for a couple of days then right back to CLUNK.
