I have this clunk when braking that sounds like it is coming from the rear brakes. Any thoughts or ideas as to what this might be. It seems to happen a couple seconds after I step on the brake pedal. I know it is not diesel sloshing around in the tank, it is definately a clunk you can hear and feel when you step on the brakes.

I'm sure you've checked everything you can think of, so I'll throw out something that can get overlooked. I have seen the brake backing plate move relative to the flange on the axle tube. The bolts may still be tight, but don't have enough clamp force to prevent a slight amount of movement when braking. Lots of possibilities though - suspension, brakes, spare tire... Good luck.
