2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission U-Joint strap bolt size?

Over the last 6 months to a year my truck has had pretty much every front end part replaced. Everything from balljoints, axle seals, tie rod ends, 3rd gen track bar conversion, shocks, redhead box, sway bar end links, and a steering box brace. I recently replaced the stock steering shaft with a Borgenson unit. At the same time I installed some MAXX suspension sway bar end links. The truck drives good, but now since the steering shaft and end links were installed I have a clunk when I'm turning at low speeds. It happens both ways and I notice it at parking lot speeds. If I am pressing the brake pedal when turning I can also slightly feel the clunk through the brake pedal. Could this be caused by the steering column bushing the Rock Solid bushing replaces? Any ideas help! Thank you.

On my old truck, I did pretty much the same front end work and had a clunk as well at low speeds and turning. It ended up being the little metal "thing" on the drag link that sits over top the adjustment bolts. The metal piece was hitting the frame at the crossmember. Turned it slightly and it solved my issue. I'd take a picture but my 01 does not have the metal thing I'm talking about, not sure what it really does

Thanks for the idea. I looked under there with the tires turned all the way and nothing hits or touches anything. Its just weird this started happening after the new steering shaft. Unless its always been going on and I couldn't feel it through the worn out shaft?

Are your sway bar end links tightened up good? Also, it is worthwhile I believe to do the rock solid bushing in the column. I have not done it on my truck now but was done on the old one and made a noticeable difference. Will do it on this one soon for the heck of it. I remember it being around $60
